10 months old!

I am just in utter shock that you have already reached your 10 month birthday...where has the time gone?!

1.  Your favorite word this month was DADDY - and you scream it when you say it.

2.  You enjoy pushing puffs and peas around your tray, occasionally, you will eat some.

3.  Just this week you started wearing your helmet only while you sleep.  The doc thinks it'll be off completely by February.

4.  Standing at the table is your first choice when it comes to playing.  After about 20 minutes you get tired and decide that sitting/laying on the floor is a good alternative.

5.  You roll - A LOT - when rolling doesn't get you to the correct spot, you rotate your body and then roll again to get what you need (I think you think crawling is for the birds).

6.  You have moved on from baby toys and now your toys include on/off switches.  We have learned that it's ok to not always turn them on while you playing.

7.  We think your molars are coming in.  During every play session you take time to put your finger in your mouth and bite down (mainly because I do not think the teething rings fit that far back in your mouth).  However, putting this finger in your mouth too far causes you to gag - then you look at us like why are you doing this to me.  It makes us laugh.

8.  You really like your Robeez monster shoes.  They are the only thing that prevents you from pulling off your socks.

9.  You now have a bed time and we put you in your crib while you are awake.  At one time this caused screaming for an amount of time, now you play a little, and then go to sleep without a peep.

10. You have moved on from napping in the chair.  Instead you prefer your crib.  This allows us time to get things done around the house, without having to tip toe around your chair so you get in a good nap.
